rendering the animation backwards

hello I am looking for some advise.
I have a render of a camera movement from maya and I would like to run it backwards as I think it looks better that way. I used to know how to do it in premiere but I no longer have that software, what I have now is shake and after effects. Does anyone know how to do this in either of these packages? very grateful for any suggestions.

Once you have rendered anything, it is “a series of frames.” You can play those frames in a forward direction, or backward, or anything else. AE can do that just fine.
