Rendering Question

Hey guys, so my question is what are u rendering with, vue? or u render it with other software, like cinema4d or 3dxmax (if u got xStream that is).
is there a difference if you render it in vue or other program? like, time or quality?

Don’t have xStream, so it’s straight Vue for me.

i do have xStream

Xstream for Lightwave has proven to be flakey and unreliable at best. It render much slower, you get funky results sometimes, and you can’t get the buffers to render. So it’s rendering inside of vue and comping for me.

i figured out how to render in 3ds max and mental ray is a lot faster and the results are ten times better!

I found out its great with mental ray like u said, so I think its recommended but rendering in vue is okie too.
