Render smoke in 2.59

#1

I can’t seem to render smoke in this latest edition of Blender, did they make changes to the voxel data interface?
I have made all the same settings that I usually do but no smoke in the render, snif. :frowning:

Anyone of you experienced the same?

Select the cube, press spacebar and search for Smoke. Select Quick Smoke, Alt+A to run the simulation and then try rendering. You may need more than the default light in your scene, but this should render the smoke. If this works, its your smoke material / render settings that are wrong in your own scene.

Wow that was sweet, thanks.
I got my ordinary way of rendering smoke to work now btw but I really liked that quick smoke, neat trick for sure.
