render mpeg 1 from combustion 3

Hi all,

I´m new to combustion and didn´t find a similar topic in the archive.

I simply want to render a mpeg 1 file for an AV-System in combustion 3, but I only found in “Video for Windows” the possibility to render avi files in different codecs. Maybe this is a dumb question, but I don´t now which trigger to pull to get an mpeg 1 - .mpeg file.

First of all it’s not a usual way to render out a compressed file in a compositing software.
Usually you use Cleaner Xl or Squeeze to encode these formats.

Have a look at http://www.darvision.com/ for dvmpeg.
With that plugin it should be possible to render out a mpeg file in every software which supports AVI output.
