render cow waits but won't start rendering

#1

Hi

I seem to have everything setup correcty, but when I hit render, it just says that there is a job scheduled and it does nothing. Shouldn’t it immediately start rendering? I can see my other machines just sitting there idle waiting for a job, but it doesn’t want to start the job.

Is there a special magic switch that says “No, I really mean I want you to start rendering now”?

On what system are you?

You should delete all files that are in the folder “batch” inside the Vue application folder. I think there is an old renderer sitting that stops your actual one from processing.

Thanks for the reply. I will check that out. Using windows XP pro SP2 32 bit. Dell computer Duo Core 2 Gigs Ram, Quadro FX 3500.

Should there not be an option maybe to start immediately and ignore any old jobs?

LOL - yes it should probably. Unfortunately there is none.
Hope it works for you!
