Any one can tell how i can rename a total Hirarchy through python script

example : main_root_scale1
root_bipe_scale1
hit_bipe_scale1

here i wan to remove all 1 from list how i can doit

please anyone can help me then its very very helpfull for me

it is easy ! please use acdseee to rename for all.
