Remove In-Between target blendshape

#1

Hi!

I have a blendshape node with a lot of target in it. I have one target with an in-between shape at 0.5, but it is on the bad target, so i wan’t to remove it. It seems there is no option in the remove blendshape box to remove only the in-between set at 0.5 witout removing the entire target shape.

Any suggestion?
Thank you!

Go to Edit Deformers > Blend Shape > Remove (option box), then you can specify which node and target you want to delete.

Thank you for your answer!
Actually, I don’t want to remove the target, but just an in-between at 0.5 of the blendshape.
I think it will request some mel scripting.

If you’ve added an inbetween-shape to the blendShape node, that is by definition a target

 allright, so you think I can remove the inbetween target with the remove blendshape option box? How can I specify to only remove the in-between at 0.5 and keep the shape at 1?

I already solved my problem, but if it’s possible, I would be happy to know how!
Thanks!

All shapes that is added to a blendShape-node is a target, and each target has a name, so what you have to do is to just specify the name of the inbetween shape you want to remove. The thing about inbetween shapes is that you can’t see them in the channelBox, so if you don’t remember the name of the inbetween shape you could run a MEL command to list all the targets:

blendShape -q -target "blendShape1"

Then try to figure out which of the returnet targets that is the inbetween target you want to delete.

Oh yeah! I will try this!
Thank you!
