ReImporting UV

If after i am done with all sculpting and painting on a model, and i have some UV i need fixed befor exporting back to maya,
do i need to delete the UVlayout of the model befor importing?
should i bake the texture and paint befor reimporting?
and might it cause problems with the parts already sculpted and painted?

if you reimport uvs all your painting stuff will be lost… :hmm:

cant i export the textures and reimport them after?
the areas need fixing are small and almost out of sight, though it reallly matters to me

go to the paint tab and import them as layer…
