Redshift: how to not render what's behind a plane?

#1

I have a character that goes through a portal so I’d like to not render him whenever he’s behind an invisible plane (with Redshift).
How can I do this?

I’d recommend the Redshift forums. You should be able to use an animated opacity map on the RS material, just like you would with a maya shader, assuming this is the effect you’re after.
