realflow rigid body..

hi everyone,

i have some problms in realflow… we can simulate rigidbodies in realflow, but how can we break an object in realflow?? is it possible?? if i break object in max n import dat as sd file in realflow, den the chunks of d objects saperates before hitting the floor…n i want dem to shatter at the time of hit…
please help me out…

I don’t think so. You have good fragmentation tools in Max anyway.

ya, we have .
bt wen i simulate dese fragments in realflow in gravity, dey js dont come on the floor as a whole object, dey fall saperatly, and i want them to fall as a whole object and shatter on the floor only.
becouse of dese saperate fragments, water particles just pass through them, and because of this extra pressure , fragments go more far in air only…

You have to use constraints in RF. The fixed constraint is the one you will need to setup, this constraint can break at a certain frame or at a certain force. But if you have a lot of objects it´s really nasty to setup at least without some python. But this is all very basic stuff and is covered very well in the manual.
