Real-Time hand animation

#1

Hi,

I am currently looking into creating a c++ program to create real-time Sign Language fingerspelling (British Sign Language so two handed) from a text input. This animation has to be driven by a markup language. I have created a bone structure in 3d studio max and I’m confused as to how to control the bone translations/rotations from a markup language to generate the animation.

Any help or pointers in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

For 3ds max file animation rendering look into www.gametutorials.com

But anyways… its easy to do.
If you have made these animations, you can simply load them into the application and let them execute a specified interval of frames. Just which one you wanna see, or the ones which are similar to the wanted letters.
