Reading image metadata in Windows XP

#1

Does anyone know if Windows XP has a built-capability (namely through something like Windows Explorer, or an add-on from Microsoft) to read and search metadata embedded in images via Bridge or Photoshop? This is a function we ideally we would like open up to all staff, the majority of whom, of course, don’t have any Adobe apps.

Thanks,
Scott

I know some image types, like .jpg, have some basic tag support in XP. If you right click the image and go to properties, you will see whats available on the summary tab. (Title, Subject, Author, Category, Keywords and Comments).
