Reactive Shader from a texture map...

#1

Hello, I’m trying to add Bump in the painted areas on a model, in the same manner as explained in Ian’s Colorphium tutorial, but from a Texture Map rather than a Paint Map.

Can NoiseFactory add Noise from a Texture Map?

Thanks in advance
Diego

It works well, but i’ve only used reactive bitmaps with mforge, can’t comment on noise factory, i would have thought it will work.

I just checked and see the option “use reactive grayscale” so i would try a grayscale .img

I remember that NXShader from Konkeptoine did it very well and in a manner easy… David miss you, please come back:)

With NoiseFactory or RustR.shd, can not do it the same way. I do not know if possible.

I have mforge too but I need only give the feeling of moss in some parts of a field, do it with mforge going to be like shooting flies with a cannon:)

Hello Diego,

If you are an owner of the older version of the NX Shader, request the free upgrade and feel free to make any other purchases.
