Re-projecting detail PROBLEM

Hey guys, i have a question for you.

I have created a subtool that i dynameshed, got to the point when it’s ready and i am about to retopo it. I did the retopo manually and i duplicated the subtool so i can use the new zremesh feature. In both ways it’s okay and that’s not the problem.

The problem is that when i am re-projecting the detail back from the high-res mesh, i can’t get the detail from the dynameshed subtool. It’s about 5 million polys, and even thou i am reaching the same number of polys(or even bigger) the detail is not quite the same. No matter if i am reprojecting it on the manually created retoped mesh or to the other that ZRemesher has created. What should i do?

Have you tried hitting ‘project all’ each time you step up a level? If you’re trying to project directly to the 5mio mesh ZB could have trouble.

Of course. I am clicking project all button on every subdivision level. I tried with other dynameshed objects and the problem is the same. I can’t get the same level of detail no matter what. …
