I’ve been modelling and texturing for some time, though I stuck to buildings and I’ve started expanding my reach. I’m designing a property and I hit a snag.
I made a patch of grass for a street intersection using a plane with a noise modifier. I then used the material picker to grab a previously used grass texture and applied it to the new corner patch. I then added a vray displacement modifier (added the grass bitmap as a Texmap). Now in my scene or through my cameras, I can see everything nicely, although, when I render, the newly created grass patch is colourless.
It isn’t a render setting since the previous patch of grass is perfect… in the same render.
I’m out of ideas and would really like to understand what I’m doing wrong.
