Hey guys,
Any ideas? I am setting up a sabertooth tiger (in Maya to inport into MB), but what ever I do the elbow will bend outwards as supposed to backwards as cats do.
I tried a lot but can’t figure it out.

So You must have wrong characterizing position. Check out Beast Character on Kaydara’s Clip Art CD- I learned how to use quadruped rig on this example.
Very important is to have fingerbase link as child of hand, elbow should bend correctly then.
Someone over on 3dBuzz had a similar problem. Check out the solutions offered here : http://sv1.3dbuzz.com/vbforum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=98747
Thanx boys,
I couldnt find the DOB (what ever that stands for) But got it fixed by rotating the ElbowJoint a 90 degree and counter rotate the Wrist. MB took that just fine.
DOB should actually be DOF - degree/s of freedom. to find dof settings in maya, select your joint/object and open the attribute editor, in motionbuilder, select your joint/object and open a property window
