Hi all!
I just purchased this card, and it is a big step up from my prevoius card (480 Gtx).
Especially in viewport speed.
However, when i am doing cloth simulations in 3D Max, it seems to be waaaay slower than the outdated gaming card… What is going on?
I am using the latest drivers from Nvidia, but i havent found a 3D max specific driver though…
Any ideas?

Hard to tell, but it’s possible the application settings are forcing a double precision handling to something that before was rolling by fine with single precision. In theory with quadros you can handle the switch software side, but there’s no knowing what MAX’s specific implementation of the GPU cloth solver does.
Try disabling DP computing per app if you can find it and see if you get some frames back.
