Python panel

Hi guys what’s up?
Alright i’m newbie on blender , i’m a rigger in maya and now i wanna help my friend with his short , i was thinking about create a panel that show up when i open blender in this panel i wanna write just the credits of the team , i did that on maya with a mel script , but i have no idea how to build it on blender… maybe with prython? any help appreciated guys

Sure you can do it in python and create something in the UI where you put your text.
It is relatively simple.
Start here: http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Extensions:Py/Scripts
and have a look at the scripts in the .blender\scripts\ui folder

Or you can just put it in a textfile which you save in the blend? using the texteditor?
would be my choice.

Just open a text editor area and write a small text of credits no need for python
