PSD Transparency Layer Insubordinate in Maya

I am a college student, and I was asked by my instructor to create 1 PSD Network with all textures/bump maps/transparencies/reflectivities/etc. included. There are objects which should not be transparent, but after creating this network, they render transparent. I’ve tried mapping them white, black, and mid-grey. I know where the reload button is, and I use it every time I make a change, but when I render again, there’s no difference. What am I missing?
