Project Messiah support in EI?

#1

Obviously the current answer is no, but it seems like Messiah’s become pretty mature at interacting with other apps. Any chance it would be considered by the various plug-in developers here?

I goes without saying that EI’s character animation set would take a light-year jump over its current state with PM support added to its tool set.

One of its key abilities is that it can “plug-in” to a host app. Seems like an easy way to instantly add some really good and mature C/A tools to EI.

Hi, Scott
I had been asking the same for some time. A good conection between Messiah and EiAS could be a godsend, but i don´t know how can be done. Messiah is for PC only, and no hope of a vers for MAC. That could be a problem too.
But dreaming is cheap.

Well, obviously the current answer is no. The silence is enough.

I am sure it does have saupport but a plug in specific to be written for it i doubt it.They have enough writing the basic pluginas and some of them are to be ported to UB for sure but just give them time.

The problem is that messiah relies on MDD to transfer animations to host apps and that it was discussed before with the Igors on this board that Fact files couldn’t “translate” easily into other 3D file formats.
I think i remember it was a problem of structure of the file and point loading order or something like this…

Anyway, without MDD messiah is useless for EIAS so the best way is still to hope for a good update of the CA tools in EI itself.
