The Project Manager is responsible for planning and coordinating activities to ensure the project goals and objectives are accomplished on time and within budget.

[font=Arial]Responsibilities include project management for cross-functional teams, project documentation (scope, project plans, schedules, resource plans, reporting etc.), budget tracking, effort estimating, resource collaboration and meeting facilitation. [/font]

[font=Arial]Responsibilities[/font]

§ [font=Arial]Perform Project management administrative functions – establish/maintain project procedures, facilitate status meetings, produce status reports, maintain project budget and distribute project documentation and schedule.[/font]

§ Identify and resolve conflicts between schedule, budget and design goals.[font=Arial] Resolve or escalate relevant issues in a timely fashion.[/font]

§ [font=Arial]Coordinate with staff and manage task interdependencies to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.[/font]

§ [font=Arial]Must proactively track and maintain the schedule daily, identifying and fixing problems early before they become a bigger issue. [/font]

§ [font=Arial]Facilitate and drive communication between internal and external development teams and the publisher. [/font]

§ [font=Arial]Create and update information to provide ‘real-time’ visibility of shared development efforts. [/font]

§ [font=Arial]Proactively identifies risks associated with meeting project milestones; ensures necessary and appropriate steps are taken to resolve difficulties which may impede progress or compromise achievement of project objectives. [/font]

§ Identify, contract and direct individuals or organizations outside the project in the creation of assets such as independent contractors, talent, music, sound, voice and video production. Manage external developers and contractors to contractual requirements.

§ Foster positive working relationship and teamwork within the development teams with an emphasis on communication. Drive communication among all team members.

[font=Arial]Required Skills & Abilities[/font]

§ 4+ years experience with video game production on multiple platforms.

§ Experience working with quality assurance teams.

§ [font=Arial]Proven team player and motivator. [/font]

§ [font=Arial]Extremely organized, self directed & detail oriented with a very consistent follow through. [/font]

§ [font=Arial]Excellent written & verbal communication skills. [/font]

§ Ability to create, track and maintain comprehensive project schedules & budgets.

§ [font=Arial]Proactive in identifying inefficiencies in production pipeline and proposing sensible solutions. [/font]

§ Skilled at distributing information and maintaining communication among many groups.

§ [font=Arial]Must be able to work easily across disciplines and divisions. [font=Arial][/font][/font]

[font=Arial]Desirable[/font]

§ Strong technical background desirable.

§ University degree.
