so, i’ve made all the usual layer (ao, rim, FG etc…) including a shadow layer. in this layer i’ve added all of the objects that appear in the camera. I gave them all a “Use Background” Shader, and set the values like this: http://postimg.org/image/rcoj12pmt/
Additionally i have set my camera background color to white with a layer override, added my main light which casts ray trace shadows.
the problem i’m getting is that my shadows are being cut in a sharp way.
