Problem with PulldownIt

#1

Hi everyone, yesterday I got pulldownit plugin, and I’ve been doing some test with it, but I have some issues when scatter the geometry. As you can see in the picture, the pieces of the scatter geometry doesn`t look like the original piece… how can I fix it?

Thats becouse the way Maya interpolates vertex normals for diferent fragments,
if you apply normals->set to face to fragments the seams disapears but you miss
also the smooth look of surface, so a good option is smoothing your model before shattering,
as smoother is the object as less seams are visible, shattering will be slower with smoother
meshes but dynamics is still almost as fast as with low-poly meshes

That true! Thanks for your answer

Hope you didn’t buy the product, it’s full of bugs, in my production we switched everything to DMM much more stable and efficient. No more bugsn no more weird results.

Well next time, you should better download it for free rather than buy it
