Problem with mocap animation in skinned character

I have a problem when I play the animation of a skinned character.

I have imported a fbx mocap-animation file. The problem that I have is that a certain point in the character doesn’t follow the rigging, it simply stays at a certain point and doesn’t move at all. The rest of the body works fine.

¨You can see clearly that there is one thing that doesn’t follow the rest of the body.

So how do I solve this? Have I rigged or mapped the character wrong?

You have to fix the skinned weights

Awright I finally managed to fix the problem!!

I used the Paint skin weight tool and noticed that Reference was skinned together with the character, I painted away the weight from reference and it worked perfectly!!

can you tell me how you could load a mocap file into your bone rig ?

and which rig did you use ?
