Problem when using Nozlle - Images are cut

hello everybody,
I got a strange problem i will try to explain as it is a bit hard.
I use nozzle, doesn’t matter which one, in some areas in the document the images are cut, or i get half peaces of it.
It happens when i use a use a small size brash and i have no idea why.
if you look at the attached image, there are gold leafs. the right one is ok, but the others are get cutted.
this happens from time to time, not the first time and i wonder why.
I’m on mac, os 10.5, painter X.
i’ll be really glad of someone can help me with that one.
