hi there, i recently tried to upgrade my cs3 package to cs4. While on disc 1 of 4, my computer crashes and I am prompted to restart. So after several failed attempts i decided to just to reinstall cs3. I had already run the cs3 clean script to upgrade to cs4. While installing cs3, the installation stops and asks me to put disc 1 of cs4 master collection. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can get cs3 to properly re-install. PLEASE HELP!!!

Have you tried contacting Adobe support about this? I’d hazard a guess and say that there is something sitting in your registry causing this.
I havent, mostly because the copy of cs4 was a loaned copy, i didnt personally pay for it. I was thinking that it was something in my registry, but I cant figure out what it is
