[font=Arial][color=white]The 3D Previz/Layout Artist works as a “digital camera operator” to create camera compositions and determine rough character timing to pre-visualize shots and provide a clear sense of action for the Animation, EFX and Lighting departments. [/font][/color]

[font=Arial][color=white]Primary Responsibilities:[/font][/color]

[li][color=white][font=Arial][color=white]Work with existing boards to recreate and/or enhance the story through creative shot layout.
[/li][/color][/font][/color]
[li][font=Arial][color=white]Establish character blocking, camera positioning, and camera movement.
[/li][/font][/color]
[li][font=Arial][color=white]Responsible for the continuity and flow within and between shots.
[/li][/font][/color]
[li][font=Arial][color=white]Work with editor to incorporate pre-visualization work into sequences.
[/li][/font][/color]
[li][font=Arial][color=white]Provide lens information, camera placement, shot timing and rough character movement.
[/li][/font][/color]
[li][font=Arial][color=white]Performs other tasks related to the creation of computer-generated animation.
[/li][/font][/color]
[li][font=Arial][color=white]Provides mentoring and training as needed.[/font][/color]

[font=Arial]Education, Experience and Skills Required:[/font]
[ul]
[li][font=Arial][color=white]Skills in modeling, animation camera composition, and cinematography.
[/li][/font][/color]
[li][font=Arial][color=white]BA in related field.
[/li][/font][/color]
[li][font=Arial][color=white]Minimum two years film or television experience.
[/li][/font][/color]
[li][font=Arial][color=white]Proficiency in Maya required.
[/li][/font][/color]
[li][color=white][font=Arial]Character animation and strong illustrative art skills desired.[/font][/color]
