Preserving UVs while modifying topology


I’m trying to move vertices, slide edges and faces without stretching the mapped texture on the mesh but nothing really seem to work. Is there a way to preserve the UVs while doing these operations? I know that in Blender, for example, a way to avoid this would be to tick the ‘correct uvs’ checkbox. Is there something similar in Silo? It would be tremendously useful.


Best option right now is, after doing the operation, select the affected faces and choose UVs/Materials > Recreate UVs > Using Neighbors. But this is good feedback, thanks!


Thanks. It didn’t really work but I understand that it’s a pretty specific feature to have. Would be cool to have this functionality in Silo though. I hope that this’ll be considered for a future version. Fingers crossed
