Preserve/transfer UV mapping with retopo

Is there any way to preserve or transfer UV mapping after using Retopology or Quad Remesher?

You can re-project the texture with baking.

Mmmm… how can the baking process transfer the UV mapping?

Remeshing destroys UVs so the new mesh will need a new UV unwrap. You can then bake the textures down from the original to the new mesh.
