Possible to embed perspective view into PySide/PyQt?

Curious, a coworker asked me this and I have no idea. Is this possible? What about other panels such as UV editor or node editor?

it is possible to put standard maya elements into a pyside gui.
You need to find the widget, and then get the QWidget for it. There are a couple of tutorials on the web.
