Possible to change ruler on right edge of screen rather than left?

This image should describe what I want to to do with the Photoshop rulers. It’d be nice if we could add them or get rid of them at will from top right bottom left. If I’m being daft and I missed something simple to achieve this please let me know (how to do this, the daft thing will be implied ok).

may i ask why? got curious :stuck_out_tongue:

anyway, no. you can’t

…but you could do exactly what you did in the pic if it’s so important
extend your canvas, take a snaoshot and you’re done

or use grinds and guids as helpers

Heh, funny idea with the ruler screen-shot as a solution. Would be moot if I moved the origin of xy coordinates though.

Again the graphic should be self explanatory. It’s just a minor annoyance that the panels block the ruler. With the new ability to dock panels and such in CS4, I’m hoping Adobe will continue to improve the GUI and this is one such way they could improve it. I like to keep all my panels on the left as this reduces the distance I have to move my cursor around to get to the tools and menus. I just figured there’s like a billion plugins for photoshop I wouldn’t be surprised if there was something.
