I’ve got a strange problem when I’m trying to export polypaint to texture using the Multi Map plugin. The object is a shirt that’s been sculpted and painted in Zbrush, from a base mesh modelled in Maya 2013. When I try to export the texture, I get a blank file, with the exception of a small patch of paint that is stretched, looking like an un-UV’d poly.
The base mesh was UV’d in Maya before exporting to ZBrush as an OBJ file, so I know the UVs are definitely there. I also tried running the UV mapper in ZBrush, but with the same result. I’ve also tried checking the normals on the base mesh to make sure they’re all correct, and they are, but the issue is still there.
Any ideas about what the problem is? I’ll try to post a screen grab later if needed.
