Polyboost annoying error

I’ve been trying for hours to figure how to launch Polyboost 4.1 on startup, but without success.
I checked the box that should be doing this, but nothing happens, so upon restarting max, I have to reinstall Polyboost if I want to use it.
Any clue as to what could be wrong?
