Pole vector tutorials?

I’m trying to find a good tutorial on pole vectors for arms and legs, mostly arms though. The tutorials I’ve seen on YT so far didn’t work in practice, so I’m looking for one that explains why I’m doing things as I’m doing them. Delete this post if this question is too newbish.

Are you asking why you need them or how to set it up properly?

if u can elaborate on your problem, i may help you in any kind of leg setup i feel (atleast did not fail in 4 years in various kind of setups)…hope u dont have that first one…
