when i use pole vector…then bone rotate …its my 1st 4leg rig…so i am confuse…am i set bone properly…am i set ik properly…plz plz…help me…
Pole Vector Problm
for one to set the ik handle you need to select the hip first and the ankle later.also one way albeit a bit cheating is to put the pole vector control on the other side behind the leg rotate it 180 degrees on the Z axis of the world and then rotate it in whatever way you want for it to be in parallel with the leg and seem more logical. Then freeze transformations,go to component mode with F8 and take all the vertices of the control and move them in front of the leg where you want them, back to object mode and select the control then the ik handle and pole vector constraint.
Since the leg is at an angle (and not facing straight forward on one axis) it is important to place the pole vector object on the Legs plane. The pole vector constraint forces the IK leg to stay on one plane and gives the option to alter this plane by moving the pole object. If the object is not aligned to the plane of the leg in the beginning the IK leg will have to rotate and pop into position!
first of all controlwhere the Rotation plane of the Ik is oriented . Might be that got oriented wrong while creating the ik . It looks like your RP orientation is offsetted of 180 degree so when you make the poleVec constraint it flips in order to match it
