Hello there,
I need help with finding out how to snap one point from a polygon and connecting it to another unconnecting point. Looking for the parallel tool to Snap Drag Tool (SHIFT G in lightwave).
Thanks in advance

Activate the Element Move Tool (T). Set your snap modifier to “Geometry” (Edit->Snap->Geometry). In the Tool Properties viewport, under “Geometry Snap”, set your mode to “Vertex” and your layers to “Foreground”. Click-drag the element you want to move/snap to the element you want to snap to.

Hey everybody thanks for the popsting.
Found this yesterday on the archives, I hope it helps everyone. Rightfull credititations are attached. For such an essential and constant tool one would thing it would be part of the core primary function. maybe I am over looking something. Any way THANKS EVERYONE
Select the ‘Automatic’ center and then issue “tool.set center.element on” in the command box. Enable
Geometry snapping. In the Tool Pipe you should see:
Geometry Snap
Action Center Element
Action Axis Auto
Save this as a preset. Activate the Move tool so it will become part of your preset and right click on any
entry in the Tool Pipe and select ‘Save Preset’. Give it a name, ie “ElementSnap”.
With this setup you should be able to snap individual elements or selected elements by clicking on the
element you want to snap and dragging. Selected elements will keep their relationships to each other.
