plugins to make roots or veins and water

HI, I know tree plugins have been discussed many times, but here I have a specific question:

If I want to make a lot of veins or roots like this one by Alexey Kashpersky, what is the best option, onyx tree, or vue7, or?

Ps: I use max 2008 and vray, what plugins are good to make realistic water, fumeFX, or 3d glue, or realflow?

the neural network here was exactly done that way.

EDIT: i attached a script that creates LIGHTNINGS but can be probably modified to look like roots too. and the zip contains the neural network max file :slight_smile:

You can try the Ivy Generator by Thomas Luft. Also availible as Plugin for Max.

There’s also a thread about a similar Script here on CGTalk. The lates downloadable Version is 0.6 and I haven’t tried it, so I don’t know if/how it works…

I am playing the ivy plugin. Its looking good. I’ll try making it more look like what I need. Thanks a lot!
