Plugin Installation - Cebas Final Render

I am new to 3d modeling but I am picking it up well. I am having problems installing plugins. I am using 3ds max 2010. I am trying to install Cebas final Render Stage-1 R2.0. After it installs I cannot access any of the materials through the material manager. I have also tried to put the .dl* into the plugins folder as well as linked the installation folder in the system paths. They all fail to initialize. Any suggestions?

First of, you need to change to finalRender from the default mental ray renderer in your rendering settings, when that is done, you should be able to use fR materials.
