pls help me about RenderMan

hi

I use pixar renderman 6.0 Pro Server 11.5.3 .

and I want to use a movie file for example a tga or a tif sequence.

but , I don`t know what I have to do.

I can use a single image only.

pls help me as soon as posible.

You don’t say what you want to use it for, but I’m guessing you mean texturing.

This is in the docs, albeit rather opaquely.

if you’ve got a sequence of images say

pic.0001.tif … pic.0100.tif

you can reference them in slim like so:

pic.$F4.tif

where $F specifies the current frame number, and 4 is the amount of padding you’d like.

were I have to put pic.$F4.tif .

do you mean I have to put it in <imageFile> in file part

I want to use it for surface color can you tell me what I have to do exactly
