PLG UV : Can we get a upgrade

Is this tool the ill-fated UV tool set that failed in LW 9.5 beta?

Has anyone heard fromt the author if he is going to upgrade the tool set.

I recommended some selection tool that auto loops or rings sort of like Modo (double click)

I don’t think it’s an entirely dead project, but the authors are not in any rush to update it.

I heard NewTek offered to purchase it from them so they could update it, but sadly they declined.

It will be AWESOME to have an upgrade to this tool set!! So if they did not sell it to Newtek it means we could expect a possible update to the tools at some point? :shrug:

The Algorithm of this plugin for UV-relaxation and to unwrarp a mesh is wicked!! For now, it’s one of the best UV tool i have ever used… even better than UV-Layout!! :deal:

Newtek REALLY should reconsider and try to purchase it again, it would be a great tool to have inside Lightwave with an upgraded code!! :buttrock:
