Pixelated Renderquality!

#1

Hi guys!

Short question: every time i render a tree or sth else with vue xstream inside of maya the textures are pixelated <<< maybe this is not the right word, but there is a picture in my post!

Can somebody tell me how to fix this issue? I think vue is a great solution for natural environments but this bad render quality is really useless. I rendered the image with mental ray and maya software and with the highest render settings!

Thank you and maybe someone can tell me something more about the software vue. Is it really good or is there an app which is better. Is vue an industry standard software? …

Thank you again and have a nice day!

you will need to edit the texture map for the leaf material.

open the material function and change the “image interpolation” mode of the color texture map to “Bi-linear”

You may also need to change the xstream render settings to run AA on the texture. Image mips and such effects are rendered with Vue internally.
