Are you sure your Genius tablet actually has pressure sensitivity?

#3

yeah i work with it fine in every program like ZBrush, Maya, Flipbook, art Rage and even Sketchbook only PS i don’t know y

I work with a genius tablet and it works great with photoshop.
You have to make sure you plug in your tablet before loading photoshop. If you plug in your tablet after loading photoshop the pressure sensitivity won’t work and will require a restart of the program.
I’m sure you would’ve tried this though , also check in photoshop by bringing up the brushes preset editor (F5 for windows). You can adjust all your pressure sensitivity settings in that window.

as i said the tablet works fine i use it even in PS i can draw with it but i cant use the pressure sensitivity when i try to enable the pressure of the pen in the brush setting; a little exclamation icon beside the drop-down list and nothing happens.

Hmm I see , well I don’t know what else could help. Maybe try re-installing the tablet drivers.
I have only come across this problem when I’ve plugged in my tablet into the usb after photoshop is loaded.

Thats weird, Photoshop CS3 sometimes loses its ‘connection’ to my wacom tablet like suddenly the pressure sensitivity stops working and I have close/reopen photoshop, or even restart my computer. its quite annoying!

anything relate about installing the latest driver??
some of friends feel the same issue too.

i has a genius tablet, the big one but it work not good with painter and no either with ps.
I put it the box and buyed a intuos3 from wacom and now work it all fin. Wacom is my favorite and it is the same price.
