Photoshop Cs4 on a Mac Question

Hey All

I been thinking after i got my MAC,Is there a way to toggle layer styles
Like when you select a style and use the arrow key´s on a PC .

so you dont have to select them one by on,really annoying

Another Question,when you select a brush,why can´t you see what brush you have selected?,off course i could just remember it,but if you are using a lot of different brushes,
its sometimes take some time to find the brush again… a small question,but still annoying
