I was wondering if CGSociety could grant this forum’s threads a longer life: as it is, we are losing a precious wealth of ideas and discussions or having to reenact them again and again because of threads dissapearing rather fast once their activity pauses. One sees the recent Paralumino discussion will be wholly erased in a few weeks or so and despairs. The same goes for all these listees’ suggestions of features for each new release of EIAS or the incoming Tesla: it’s quite frustrating, and robs the forum of a sense of history.
Not meaning to criticize the privilege of having CGSociety hosting us: just wondering if we can improve upon it.
All threads in this forum are preserved. Just simply select “From Beginning” in the display options at the bottom of the page (in the Main EI Forum) and you’ll see every thread ever started in this forum. Nothing is lost.
