Hi,
I’m just getting into Matte Painting and here is my first result after watching a couple hours of video tutorials. It’s still missing some detail. Comments and suggestions for improvement would be appreciated.

Good matte painting. I think that there needs to be a darker shadow on the main volcano to match the nice dark areas of the foreground rock. Also consider the shape of the shadow and how that may spread across the landscape. The distant mountain on the left may not need to be so bright.
