I posted this on the C4D forum also, which is my main application. Yet i saw some of the great animations done with A:M so i wanted to post here too.
—Ok i will probably post this in the A:M forum also to get an objective reply. I was looking at A:M (animation master) recently, because of another thread here, and it seems like deformation for characters using patch modelling looks very fast, convenient, and good.
Why hasn’t other programs adopted this technique. Doesn’t Renderman use patch and nurbs to produce its super real results.
Nurbs deformation with bones can be done to a limit in C4D, but there is no way to customize weights that i know of. Is there?—
I think my brain filed it way under some of my cheese knowledge
