Just thought I’d come get some C+C of a portrait I done for my friend :slight_smile:

PS CS2 used + Wacom Bamboooo
Had real difficulties with the drink though

clothes lack textures or any sort of material feel to it. cheeks are too puffy, makin head looks really big x[

You need to learn how to walk before you can run. You have to train your eye-to-hand coordination and observational/analytical skills. Right now, you are having problems reproducing the shapes you see correctly, thus your proportions are off. You also need to learn how to properly portray forms, values, as well as develop your aesthetic sensibility. You’ve got a lot of stuff on the face that works against its attractiveness, and you need to study the elements of beauty.
