I don’t know of any uses for this immediately off the top of my head. At first it seemed like a lot of work just to animate a cube rotating, but I love using Nodes so I think this functionality will be really good somehow…
Do you have any practical uses in mind?
The particle simulation control with Nodes at the very least seems like a great way to manage what is currently a very complex and convoluted system.
