Panel Crashing in MODO

Hi Guys;

Firt off; I am a newbie for MODO and I downloaded the trial 1 week ago with the whole content files and movies. I really wanna learn this amazing modeling and rendering masterpiece …

After spending a lot time with Modo, I realized that Modo is crashing whan I make a specific action. I am gonno explain What I do with modo… :slight_smile:

1- I open it

2- Go to layouts and load the defult 201 .

3- The new panels appear and I choose “Render Single” from the new layout panels.

4- Then I choose “Model Single” again and Modo crashes.

That what is happening.

Is this a trial bug or a general situaution for the users of MODO??

Is that about something with my PC configuration?? ( 2 gb RAM — Pentium 4 3.0 — Gforce 5700FX )

Buy the way; If I use Modo with its defult layout that comes with first launching, there are always two sets of panels which are the same. If I choose the render single , Modo opens a new one that has the same panels with the others on the screen. Then I choose "Model single " tab that belongs to the first one , Modo crashes again… Yees It is not normal for an application like MODO 202.

What do you guys suggest me to do? If you misunderstand, I can send you a couple of images explaining What I mean.

Something odd must have happened the modo config along the way.

Close modo

Delete the file modo201.cfg located in C:\Documents and Settings\User Account\Application Data\Luxology

Open modo

This should solve both the crashing and duplicate tabs.

Thank you … I am gonno give it a try. It is realy annoying… I have my own Modo Even though it is a trial version of it, I cannot use it. I hope your suggestion will solve this trouble.
