Hi
I am more than 6 months trying to paint, and I do not obtain to finish no art. I have you doubt and continuos errors in my paintings.
I recorded one video of as I you painting
you the well simple ones, but wanted feedbacks on this. I do not know if missed start, at last, the half I arranged to learn.

Painting tips
I watched the video, and it doesn’t not demonstrate anything that can help us tell you what you’re doing wrong. You’re basically laying down flat base skin colors in the video, and there’s no right or wrong in that. What we’d need to see is how you approach brushwork when depicting changing values, details, shapes…etc.
You can show us the various stages of your paintings in step-by-step images–that is usually more informative (and much smaller file sizes). The video you made is a huge file and not helpful at all.
sorry lunatique…
It is that I very want to learn to paint
My process

Original

Define the background color base

Define color base - opacity 100% - no other dynamics activate

Block the image - 40 a 60 % opacity -

Refine image - 10 a 20 % opacity

Image without line
Generally I lose myself when trying To refine.
I already tried to use “other Dynamics”
But I do not obtain that wonderful pressure that I see here in the works
The blending you are achieving is actually pretty good I think, you mentioned ‘other-settings’; I like to have both opacity and flow set to pressure and most often keep opacity at 100% and vary flow a bit. It helps to have a light touch on your tablet often as well as use softer edged brushes when necessary.
Now, I don’t think the problem you are having with refinement is in the brushstrokes - I think you would do well to adequately define the position of your lightsource from the beginning. I would recommend painting in a simple sphere and using that as your reference. Think in simple forms first and then build complexity and detail upon that. Also, try to think of shading in the terms of Full-light and shadow, drawing in the terminator or core-shadow can be very helpful as well. Anyways, once you have determined the shape of the full-light and shadow then you can ‘blend’ those two together based upon the speed at which the object turns a corner (think sphere vs cube). With color however you will need to help that mixture keep it’s intensity by mixing one or more middle step colors in the Half-light. I dunno, I’m rambling here.
Hi Gisaiagami.
It looks like when you’re getting ready to do the “refine” process, you’re simply turning off your linework layer. One thing you might try is to create another layer over the linework, and start painting over it on that. If you find you still need a little reference, duplicate the linework layer and put it on top of everything with a low opacity when painting, Then whenever you don’t need a part anymore, you can just mask it out.
On the training with spheres, I already had made many. I go to post some here to see:

Other Exemple

But, in face this not possible for me
I follow more or less this A layer, below normal and one above in multiply, which control opacity
Help me
With spheres what I intended was that you would use them as a simple guide to understand the direction of your lightsource - something you could paint quickly in your painting as use as a reference throughout.
That exercise looks familiar
- The creator re-vamped that I do believe, you can find it here. Better organized and more comprehensible I think.

There yes! I made the exercises and until post But unhappyly nobody helped there =/ I tried I followed mods of construction. But I do not obtain to paint in other images
